Once again… Elisabeth Shue

Filed under: Carl's Jr., Corpsey, Elisabeth Shue, Utah, endangered species — meatlover @ 3:45 am

Dear Lisa,

Please let me know what type of movie role you would like to see yourself in. We are shooting a film in a small town in Utah next month, but the main actor has to portray herself as the meanest, most self-centered woman on the planet. It’s up to you, but I can’t picture you in that role.

You need to be shown as a strong actor. You have the talent. Is it a problem with the agent? My guess is kids. I do understand that well – all too well.

I can hammer out a script in no time at all, so call me.

P.S.: The comments in my book and the chapter dedicated to you are not meant in a malicious way.

Carl’s Jr. for sale

Filed under: Carl's Jr., Famous Star, Salt Lake City, burgers, exotic meats, restaurant — meatlover @ 2:25 pm

Hi,

Thank you for all the support. I am selling the www.carlsjr.net site, and it is currently in the bidding phase. Need some cash to leave the area for a week. Haven’t had a vacation in almost 3 years!

Anyway, I’m not sure if I will let the blog go with it. I’d like to keep it and make it more of an informative site about a restaurant that was once on of the best. My guess is that Carl’s Jr. will haggle for the site. If you have the money, I’d grab it, and you may get as much as 5 x the amount from Carl’s.

Carl’s Jr. website down

Filed under: Carl's Jr., PETA, endangered species — meatlover @ 4:33 am

We had a few snafus with the Carl’s Jr. site; mostly because we had an attorney look over the website – just to be on the safe-side. She determined (6.75 hours later…) that the site was slander-free. She actually felt that it was fairly tame, but felt that there may be “too many supportive references to PETA.” That wasn’t what I wanted to hear, but really don’t want to spend more time on finding new and creative reasons to hate the French. This, by the way, has been a 20-year hobby of mine.

Remember my motto: “Cut it all down; pave everything!”
